my new work explores gatherings of people

for purpose, not pleasure.

they band together to stand up, march, speak

to what has happened to the oppressed, suppressed

to speak about what is wrong with our world

it is about time.

 

some move to the left.

some move to the right. 

is there a left or right?

is there a right and wrong? 

in everyone’s view they are right.

 

that is why we are where we are.
